Kim W. Williams, President and CEO
Kim W. Williams, President and CEO of Simpson Senior Services, has nearly 30 years’ experience leading senior living and retirement communities in Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Missouri. As CEO of the Simpson Senior Services network, he is dedicated to the goal of delivering the highest quality services, living accommodations and lifestyle options to residents regardless of heritage or resources. Mr. Williams holds a master of science degree from the University of Louisville (KY) and a bachelor of arts degree from Furman University (SC).
Mr. Williams is recognized as an outstanding leader by his peers having been selected to serve as President of the Kentucky Association of Not-for-Profit Homes and Services for the Aging, President of the Kentucky Chapter of the American College of Health Care Administrators, board member of the Missouri Association of Homes for the Aging and board member and Treasurer of the United Methodist Association of Health and Welfare Ministries. Mr. Williams is also a member of LeadingAge and LeadingAge PA.
Mark Aguilar, Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer
Mark Aguilar, CPA, MBA, is Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Simpson Senior Services. In the position he directs and oversees corporate finance for SSS and its family of communities including Simpson House, Simpson Meadows, Jenner’s Pond, Simpson Mid-Town and Simpson Gardens and manages new business development.
Mr. Aguilar, a Certified Public Accountant, has nearly thirty years experience in financial management and accounting. Prior to joining Simpson Senior Services in 2017, he was Chief Financial Officer at Fellowship Village, Basking Ridge, New Jersey. Mr. Aguilar holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Wilkes University and a Masters of Business Administration in Corporate Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison NJ. Mark is a member of LeadingAge and LeadingAge PA.
Curt Evans, Chief Operating Officer
Curt Evans is Chief Operating Officer for Simpson Senior Services. He has extensive background in senior housing, post-acute care services, and not-for-profit leadership. He has progressed through many levels of responsibility in retirement community operations, skilled nursing center leadership, assisted living and personal care home management.
Most recently, Curt served as the Chief Operating Officer for Parker Life in Piscataway, New Jersey, where he directed five senior housing communities and led a team through the design phase of a fifty-three million dollar post-acute care and nursing center. He implemented program innovations to enhance clinical quality of life for residents in their skilled dementia care community. Prior to Parker Life, Curt served as Senior Vice-President, Operations for Luthercare in Lititz, PA.
Curt earned a BS degree in Business Administration from Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania, holds a Pennsylvania Nursing Home Administrator’s License (NHA) and is an Eden Certified Care Partner. Curt is completing a Master of Jurisprudence (MSJ) at Seton Hall Law School in Newark, New Jersey, focusing on Health and Hospital Law.
Robbe Healey, Vice President for Philanthropy
Robbe Healey, MBA, NHA, ACFRE, is Vice President for Philanthropy for Simpson Senior Services. In this position, she directs and supports the fundraising programs for the Simpson Senior Services family of communities, including Simpson House, Simpson Meadows, Jenner’s Pond, Simpson Mid-Town and Simpson Gardens. She is an accomplished philanthropy professional having previously served in senior fundraising positions in several senior living organizations. She was the 75th individual worldwide to achieve the Advanced Certified Fund Raising Executive (ACFRE) credential. She holds an MBA from Villanova University and a bachelor of science degree from Northeastern University. Robbe is a member of LeadingAge and LeadingAge PA.
Heather Gibbon, Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Heather Gibbon is Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Simpson Senior Services. In this position, she implements and oversees the comprehensive sales and marketing programs for Simpson House, Simpson Meadows and Jenner’s Pond. Her thirty-year career includes progressively responsible Sales and Marketing positions in the for-profit and non-profit sectors. Prior to joining Simpson Senior Services, she held successful positions with Home Instead Senior Care in Delaware County, Senior Helpers of Chester County, Freedom Village Brandywine and Simpson House. Ms. Gibbon holds a B.A. in Sociology from Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA.
A respected professional leader, she served as President of Chester County Net-Care. She is also active in a private philanthropic group helping women and children in Chester County. In her free time, you can find her spending time with her husband Fred, their two teacup Pomeranians, four grandchildren and lots of time in Bethany Beach, DE. Heather considers it an honor and a privilege to have a career in retirement living for Simpson Senior Services, a retirement living community that makes a difference in the lives of seniors and their families.
Kathleen Ardekani, Executive Director Simpson Meadows
Kathy Ardekani is Simpson Meadows Executive Director. Prior to her selection as executive Director, she served in leadership positions with Inglis House, Maris Grove, Sunrise Assisted Living, and Manor Care. She uses her depth of experience in administration, marketing, and management to oversee day-to-day operations of Simpson Meadows. Kathy holds a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Behavioral Science from Neumann University and Masters in Social Work from Widener University.
Kathy has served on the Boards of Directors of The Eastern Pennsylvania Geriatrics Society and PathWays, PA, which she also Chaired. She is a team Leader for the Pennsylvania Culture Change Coalition.
Richard Coyle, Simpson House Executive Director
Richard Coyle, RN, NHA, is Executive Director at Simpson House. His clinical education, operations and management skills ensure Simpson House provides high quality care and services to all residents. Prior to being named Executive Director, Coyle held the positions of Administrator and Director of Nursing at Simpson House.
His more than twenty (20) year nursing career includes successful management and leadership positions at Cheltenham Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Extendicare Health Services, Dresher Hill Health & Rehabilitation, Bala Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Intracorp and St. Joseph Manor. Coyle earned his Diploma of Nursing in June 1993 at Frankford Hospital School of Nursing and was awarded an Associate in Arts, Letters, and Sciences in June 1993 from Penn State University. Coyle served in the U.S. Army, 1986 – 1988 and was honorably discharged.
Barbara Croyle, Jenner’s Pond Executive Director
Barbara Croyle is Executive Director at Jenner’s Pond. She has over a decade of expertise in all facets of senior living and healthcare management. Prior to her selection as Executive Director, Croyle served as Executive Director of Commonwealth Senior Living (formerly Stratford House) and before that as Executive Director of Lutheran Senior Services of Chester County. Barbara is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Arbitration Association (Healthcare / Commercial Panel) and the American Society on Aging. She earned a Master’s Certificate in Gerontology from St. Joseph’s University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Colorado. Barbara lives in Landenberg with her husband Jeffrey and three rescue cats.
Russ Alexander, Simpson Mid-Town Manager
Russ Alexander has been the Simpson Mid-Town housing manager since 2007. He came to the community with 23 years’ experience in Center City Philadelphia commercial and residential property management. He is a real estate broker, as well as an Accredited Residential Manager (as conferred by the National Association of Realtors). A former CPA, he worked in public accounting and holds a master’s degree in accounting from Virginia Tech. He is a member of Arch Street United Methodist Church where he is active with the Trustees. His hobby is bicycle riding, so you may see him commuting to and from the campus on two wheels!
Christine Foster, Simpson Gardens Property Manager
Simpson Gardens Property Manager Christine Foster joined Simpson Senior Services in October 2014. Her experience includes managing operations for multi-unit apartment communities, health care, insurance and related functions.
